Masters Degree Programs
Computer Animation
In the Computer Animation program, you’ll learn the skills needed to bring characters to life using computer software. Computer Animation is part acting, part storytelling, and part visual art. You’ll study methods to create realistic movement in 3-D digital environments, and collaborate within a team environment to gain practical experience. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as 3-D character animator, computer animator, modeler, and storyboarder.
Film
The Film program helps you to develop the creative principles of narrative filmmaking, as well as the culture, discipline, and professional protocols of the business. You’ll write, shoot, direct, and edit several narrative films in collaboration with your peers, under the guidance of faculty with direct experience in the film industry. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as producing feature films, shorts, music videos, and commercials.
Graphic Design
In the Graphic Design program, you’ll study design, typography, and color theory. Industry-specific software is utilized to help you learn to create everything from logos and posters to packaging, Web sites, and corporate identity packages. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as advertising designer, computer artist, freelance artist, graphic designer, or layout artist.
Interior Design
In the Interior Design program, you’ll study the design, safety, and usability issues of creating the spaces that we live, work, and play within. Coursework focuses on space planning, traffic patterns, and the colors, surfaces, and furnishings that make surroundings comfortable and livable. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as draftsperson, facilities planner, interior designer/decorator, or space planner.
Visual Arts
In the Visual Arts program, you’ll focus on painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, and installation art. The program encourages you to combine media to redefine traditional boundaries. You’ll also work closely with faculty members to gain communication and promotional skills needed to visually and verbally articulate ideas. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as artists and instructors within the visual arts field.
Bachelors Degree Programs
Advertising
Advertising is a creative profession within the commercial realm. In the Advertising program, you’ll study art direction, copywriting, and account supervision – and you’ll learn both the creative and business side of advertising. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as account manager, copywriter, or assistant art director.
Audio Production
In the Audio & Media Technology program, you’ll study audio recording, audio for video, and production. You’ll work on industry-related equipment to gain experience with the technology used in the audio and media fields. Coursework may include everything from recording and mixing to using software and hardware to produce audio in digital formats. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as audio engineer, radio producer, assistant sound technician, promoter, or sound engineer.

You’ll have an opportunity to learn both traditional and computer generated design as you develop your own sense of design and style. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as costume designer, assistant fashion buyer, fashion designer, or seamstress.
Fashion Merchandising
In the Fashion Merchandising program, you’ll study the business that moves the world’s fashions from designers’ showrooms to retail sales floors, and finally into the hands of consumers. This fast-paced industry revolves around individuals who exhibit strong business skills and an eye for style. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as fashion coordinator and stylists in retail department stores, boutiques, wholesalers, importers, designers, and manufacturers.
Film & Digital Production
The Film & Digital Production program provides the basics to help aspiring videographers understand nuances of digital filmography. You’ll gain knowledge of shooting, directing, and editing digital pieces using industry-related software and equipment. The Photography program teaches you composition, lighting, and equipment use. Darkroom techniques, color, and design are explored both on location and in a studio. You’ll have an opportunity to develop business skills as you fine-tune your eye for detail. Both digital and film will be utilized. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as commercial photographer, digital photographer, industrial photographer, photo lab technician, or photojournalist.
Visual & Entertainment Arts
In the Visual & Entertainment Arts program, you will build your artistic talents through paint, canvas, and clay. Coursework focuses on drawing, figure drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, and painting. Based on an understanding of the history and tradition of painting, the Visual & Entertainment Arts program will help you to create work with depth and resonance. The Visual Effects & Motion Graphics program helps you to learn how to use your creativity to produce attention-grabbing communication design for film, television, and the Web. Visual effects are responsible for movie trailers, opening film credits, television commercials, animated network identities, and short promos. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as production assistant, assistant designer, visual effect specialist, or broadcast design assistant.
Web Design & Interactive Media
In the Web Design & Interactive Media program, you’ll focus on interface design, interactivity, visual design, database design, dynamic Web content design, technology, and information design and employ creative solutions across all Web-related mediums. You’ll have an opportunity to learn skills that will enable you to create accessible, engaging interactions via Web sites and other interactive mediums.
